About the Elizabeth Gray Vining room
Part of the original house, this room overlooks our side garden with gazebo, the flower garden, and valley across the road. The walls are the original pine paneling of the farmhouse and project a warm glow. Elizabeth Gray Vining was a famed author who used to stay at the Inn in the summer to write. She was most known as being the Tutor for the son of Japan’s Emperor. You will find several of her books on your night table.
